Worship through the Arts

Creative ministries is the outworking of our love and passion for God through the many different creative mediums - new sights and sounds that bring glory to our God and display the majesty of His splendour. Often worship is perceived as only singing, but the Bible declares that "everything you do, do as unto the Lord". It is not only on Sundays that we worship, but in the week when no one is looking and we have nothing to gain, no praise to earn. God is honoured in both the large and in the seemingly insignificant or small. Our Creator may be revered in the stroke of a paintbrush or in the beautiful movements of a svelte dancer, or perhaps in someone simply cleaning the stage after a big event. The world is looking for real people living out a real Gospel, and through the arts we hope to lift His name high in word, action and deed. Yes we want to bring our best and stun the world with the "God in us" and His creativity working in and through us, but above all else we need the presence of God and His glory manifest - Lord Come!

Our Regular Meetings
Creative Ministries meets every Tuesday night to prepare and plan for our upcoming services and events. Over the course of a month we cover personal worship, spiritual and leadership development, and practical training in music, dance, vocals, sound, lighting, television, etc. and social nights! We also host our "Touching Heaven" (whole church prayer and praise nights) on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. Contact one of the team members listed for more information.
